I did it! The 30 post challenge is done.
So now that it's over, I wanted to know was there anything ELSE you guys wanted to know about me? I mean, I covered a pretty broad range of topics with this one, but I am sure there are questions still left.

Please bare with me as I slowly but surely recreate my blog. If you look to your left, I have added a Flickr,
You Tube, and Facebook account button so you can come stalk me on multiple levels. There still are changes to be made, but since I only blog Mon-Fri from 8-4, it looks like they will have to wait until next week.

I have been reading everyone's blogs, trust me. I just have been super busy with work lately, we had a convention I had to attend and I just didn't have the time to read AND comment. But I still love you and really do care what you have to say, just so you know!

I miss my Grandma. She lives in Arizona so I don't get to see her very much. See is so kind, generous and really sweet. I really admire her for all that she has gone through in life and how strong she is because of it. I feel that she had passed that trait onto my mother as well. Both are amazing women who I really look up to.

The Dark

I am scared of the dark. I am pretty sure I have already divulged that dirty little secret. I still to this day sleep with a nightlight and every room in our house (including the bathroom) has a nightlight. It's okay if you laugh, I know it's silly. But hey, at least I see when the monsters are coming to get me.
I really can't stand being in the dark alone. I have always slept with a nightlight as long as I can remember. James is really good about it though and he is helping me work on it. It is definitely something I need prayer about (hint hint).

I am also scared of the darkness that will come if I were to ever fall away from God. He is the way, He is the light. Without Him, I am susceptible to all the darkness that this world holds. The tight gripping, stomach dropping, hair raising, chilling fear that I have now of being alone in the pitch dark is what I imagine it would feel like all the time without Him. It's very frightening.

apartment hunting = no fun

Since James and I are staying in San Diego for the time being, we have to now find a new apartment. We don't move out until the end of June, so we still have some time to look. However, we are trying to see all of our options before choosing. We seriously look at 1 apartment almost everyday! It gets soooo exhausting! And I still can't believe how expensive it is to live in San Diego. It is much too rediculous.

Anyway, anyone have ANY tips for apartment hunting? Any good tips on dealing with private owners of condos and such verses companies that own apartment buildings? Anyone have a funny story they can share about looking for a new home? Seriously, I need a pick me up.

Salvation Mountain (photos galore!)

We took our Life Group to one of our favorite places: Salvation Mountain about a month ago (I know, it has taken me a long time to post this, sorry!). It is located a about 2.5 hours away in the middle of nowhere out in Niland, CA. We wanted to show them just how much love someone could have for our God. This place is so magical and stirs up so many emotions for me. I always feel so inspired when I see it, whether in person or looking back at our pictures. If you ever have the chance to make it out there, I promise you, it will be every bit worth it.
