I own a Boppy pillow from my pregnancy with chloe. But to be honest, i ended up using it more for a seat cushion during my recovery more than anything else. I mean, i did have to have a ridiculous amount of stitches so the Boppy really did help, just not in the way it was intended to.

I have heard a lot about the My Brest Friend pillow and the nurse who taught my childbirth class swore by it. So i am wondering if its worth it? I want to make sure I will have use for it before i decide to shell out the money for it. (which I found on sale for $30 on Amazon here.)

Have any of you had any experience with it? I do like that it is more hands free for nursing. I would love to hear what your opinions are on it...

I got a boppy as well, but just as you said my nurse/lactation lady recommended Brest friend. I did get it and I'm SOOOOO glad I did! I like it WAY better! It has more support when feeding rather than boppy because that one gets all sunken and squished when I feed.
With that said YES it is worth it very much so!!
Luckily I found mine at a childrens resale shop, it was cheap in perfect condition! Might want to consider checking eBay too!
THANK YOU for posting this! I too have been in a quandary about this matter. I have the boppy and "used" it with Alizah, but never felt it made a huge change or helped very much. I have heard alot of other moms rave about the brest friend and how it saves them in so many ways. I just really wanna be sure that it's worth it to invest in the brest friend, because thats what I'm about ready to do! Thanks again for getting these questions out there and letting us be a part in discovering the answers <3
I ended up with both and I loved my Brest friend so much. It's bulky but I felt so much more supported with it. If you can find a deal I don't think you will be disappointed! Good luck!
I had both. Never used the boppy, absolutely swore by the MBF. LOVED it!!! I like the support, that you can buckle it around yourself, and that you can get the baby settled and if you forgot something - can actually get up and move - with the baby still on the pillow (supported, of course) and not mess up the nursing set up. It was awesome.
