Salvation Mountain (photos galore!)

We took our Life Group to one of our favorite places: Salvation Mountain about a month ago (I know, it has taken me a long time to post this, sorry!). It is located a about 2.5 hours away in the middle of nowhere out in Niland, CA. We wanted to show them just how much love someone could have for our God. This place is so magical and stirs up so many emotions for me. I always feel so inspired when I see it, whether in person or looking back at our pictures. If you ever have the chance to make it out there, I promise you, it will be every bit worth it.

*These photos are all taken by either James and Myself. Feel free to use them, but please source back to me. Thanks!

I've always wanted to go here. We go dirt bike riding up at Ocotillo wells just across from the Salton Sea. I am so determined to go there soon.

I've never heard of that before, but I love things that are Jesus-in-your-face type things, but not the kind that is offensive (the people with the sandwich board telling everyone they're sinners and are going to hell)--those turn me off to my own "religion".

What a neat place! Wish I wasn't so far away, otherwise I'd totally need to check that out! Maybe someday! :)
